Umm...probably not. He's one player, a good player, but one player no less. They might get to the playoffs, but Washington and New York will hand them losses this year. In turn, they'll not take the division and probably lose along in the playoffs.

Terrell Owens may open the secondary up for the Cowboys, but Parcells will also be focusing a 2 TE set up, giving Witten more chances to establish himself, and Julius Jones/Marion Barber to bring the running game up to full speed. Drew Bledsoe seems to work well with a system for a few years, then crashes so this and next season are the best chances for him to return to the playoffs and make a run.

However, Dallas should still work on their defense. With the loss of Dat Nguyen, their linebacker corps has weakened severely. DeMarcus Ware and Roy Williams are both solid, but their secondary is nothing to really worry about.

Parcells may try to win by using an offensive assault, which takes a lot of pressure off of the defense. However, against stingy defenses and teams thirsty for vengeance, that will not help Dallas at all.

They have a shot at a wildcard slot, but this really will not be their year.

No, he will have a meltdown and destroy the team like he did in Philadelphia. And shame on Jerry Jones for paying someone like him to play for him, someone who insulted the organization the way he did a few years ago when he was with San Francisco by spiking the ball on the star at the 50. Not only once but twice. Good for George Teague for smacking him the way he did. I use to be a Cowboy fan but ever since Jerry Jones has been owner the franchise has just gone down the toilet.

Playoffs? Are you kidding? Owens is too immature and is inevitably going to clash with the hot-headed Parcells. He's only going to cause the team to implode, just like he did in Philly. The League needs to quit giving this pathetic excuse for a human being a chance on different teams and ban his sorry a**!

I say no on both accounts. I think the Redskins are the far more balanced team, Bledsoe will be lucky if he even has time to throw, they can't run with that O-Line and their seconday (especially their safeties) are terrible, case in point being last years Redskins win over them in the final 2 minutes.

Owens HAD the chance to be one of the greatest, but now if he does scratch at some records, people will look at him the same way people view Barry Bonds in MLB...a liar and a pompous jerk.

Lemme say it this way.
The Cowboys, since their troubled reputation days, have become a Retirement Home for HAS beens!
Look at the Coach, Terrell, and everybody on the team!! A Bunch of RETIREES!! EVEN THE OWNER is a reitree!!

Definetly will. If he was able to get the Eagles to the superbowl as their only "real" reciever, getting Dallas who already have a 1,000 yds reciever and a TE capable of catching over 60 balls for over 700yds, who's to say that he won't even take them to the Big Game??

No ... Owens is NOT going to get 100 catches like he did in Philly. Bledsoe will stick to the offense - he has more spine and courage than McNabb. Dallas' best weapon is their TE Whitten. By midseason Owens will be griping in the clubhouse, and you will see his production go down, as Bledsoe tells him to shut up.

The question is: will they make the playoffs, or will Owens destroy the team before that?

It will take more than just Terrel Owens. They'll need a good running game, consistant play from Bledsoe, and better D than they played last year.

He alone won't but I think the team should get to the playoffs, but I doubt the Superbowl.

If he wants to be a team player, does his job, and doesn't play the "It's all about me or it's all Bledsoe's fault that I don't get the ball enough" game. I think they have a good chance if he can get over himself. If I were Donavan McNabb I know where my next pass to Owens would be.....right in the nuts.
