Probably the road warriors but the dudley boyz are gettin close to bein the best i say as soon as the dudleyz win the NWA world tag titles they can be considered the best of all time

the only tag team in history to capture the WWE (both World Tag Team and WWE Tag Team), WCW, and ECW Tag Team Titles.
they won a major tag team title 18 times— eight times in the ECW, nine times in the WWE, and once with the WCW belts

Hawk and Animal, The Legion Of Doom, The Road Warriors!!!

Can't forget the rest of my Top 10: the Midnight Express (more partial to Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, as that's the version I grew up watching), Rock N Roll Express, Hart Foundation, British Bulldogs, Fabulous Freebirds, The Funks, The Steiners, Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson, and The Fabulous Kangaroos, either.

Here's a couple of my personal fav's, in no particular order.

The Natural Disasters (typhoon aka tugboat and earthquake r.i.p.)
The Rock and Sock Connection (just for the fun of it)
Power Trip (hhh and stone cold)
Demolition
The Hart Foundation
The Rockers
DX
The Dudley Boys
Nasty Boys
Edge and Christian
The Hardy Boys
LOD

If I had a gun to my head and "asked" to pick the best tag team then I would have to say The Rockers.

Gotta be the Legion of Doom for sheer power but for underhand nastiness was thinking the Fabulous Freebirds. Mike Hayes' scary mullet was truly frightening and the less about Jimmy's grotesque black perm the better. It gave a kid nightmares.
Then you had the Hulkster and the Warrior, albeit briefly.
Rockers were too lightweight, British Bulldogs were too British to be given the chances they deserved and Natural Disasters just squished people. Lets not forget the Kain/Undertaker partnership too. For patheticness I suppose you couldnt top the Bushwhackers.
I think for overall style, power, technique and appearance tho, you would quite possibly have to go for the Hart Foundation. What a fantastic team to watch.

The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom. Even the Dudley Boys consider then the greatest tag team ever.
