I don't have to jump off a bridge to know what it's like. I've seen other people do it. I don't have to use myself to experiment. If skydiving is so great, why not skydive to work everyday?

Most people who have never experienced skydiving feel as you do. To actually make a comment on it, you seem to have some interest in the sport. Is it possible that this is something you wish you had the courage to do but do not? Skydiving is a sporting activity that for the vast majority provides a safe, exhilarating experience. It has its risks, but so do other sports. I guess the real issue is whether taking any kind of risk for sporting pleasure is ever warranted. For pure entertainment value, nothing comes close to skydiving that I have ever experienced. Give it a try...I bet your opinion would change.

I have wanted to try it for a long time, because it looks like fun. Getting to float thru the air and feeling the excitement, would be exciting. I don't think I ever will now though, bc I have two lil girls that I deeply love. There is a risk of injury and death, which is with a lot of things we do everyday, but this is a risk that can be avoided by choice. So no I don't see it as stupid. Many enjoy it and it's their individual right and choice to do so.

So which category do you place Airborne soldiers in? Have you forgotten the mighty 82nd and 101st Airborne divisions and their contributions to the cause of freedom and democracy since WWII?

The Airborne soldier provides the enemy with the maximum opportunity to give his life for his country.--US Army Airborne School

It's a huge rush, and better on the system than drugs that do that . . . and legal, too.
