Okay, I bought on clearence from Barnes and Noble book covers made of a hard plastic that stick to paperback books that you trim to fit the cover. I know B&N doesn't make then anymore, I've looked on every search engine and auction sight and even in library and book merchant catalogues, but can only find flimsy plastic covers. Has anyone seen or know where I can find more hard plastic bookcovers please? I'm getting a little desperate.

As a teacher, I've run into this problem a lot with the books I have in my classroom library. Our department secretary uses clear Contact brand paper and fixes around the paperbook. However, that can be some tricky business. You might try the following sites for the plastic bookcovers:

http://www.highsmith.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Production/Search.jsp?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&langId=-1&N=790
(look under book care and repair)

It's rough when you find a product you like, and can use, then it suddenly is taken off the shelves.
I'm taking it, that the demand for that item isn't very high. If the item isn't selling well, stores will drop that item for something that does.
If by chance, you have a wrapper that came with the covers, you might find the manufacturer of the product, and be able to contact them via the web, or phone number.
It's something, I haven't seen before.
One thing you may try, it checking out some craft store, for a similar kind of plastic and make your own.
Good luck, maybe someone, will have some good news for you.

OK if you aren't shy like me then go to a companie. I am sure there will give you some. Usally companies throw out alot of stuff so they would be glad to give it to you. Like at Blockbuster they give you the posters they hung up for FREE
