If you could move to another country what country would it be? Why?

I moved to the Gran Canaria a year ago. Sunny all year round with the average temperature all year at about 24 C.

Yes we get a winter. Coldest for thirty years was 11 C. Next day it was back to 21 C.

We have a beach which enjoys the longest hours of sunlight in the world. A capital voted the capital with the best climate in the world. Another beach where the world windsurfing championships are held each year. A litre of brandy costs 7 euros, beer comes as cheap as 0.16 euros a can which is close to eight cans for a pound ($1.80 US).

The islands are basically tax free for all elctrical goods, cameras, cigs, cigars, booze etc.

Tax on homes, cars etc is very low and no TV licence is required.

We do not need to heat our home or cool it saving power costs.

Cars are much cheaper as is petrol and diesel.

Everyone is friendly.

What more could you ask?

I have always wanted to live in Austrailia for a couple of years, becuase Austrailians seem like cool people and the country seems to be sunny with lots of beach!

I live in Canada, and if I were to move somewhere else, it would likely be America, of course. For one thing, the cultures are quite similar, and for another it's close to home. I've love to live in New York City one day! : )

Canada. Most of the country speaks English so I wouldn't have to learn a new language, and it is pretty liberal.

Germany. Its beautiful. I love the alps. People are kind and most speak English. The food is Delicious and the beer. Um did I mention the beer!!!!
