Unlike heterosexuals and homosexuals, bisexuals don't have an established community. Bisexuals usually feel confused about their sexual orientation, and feel that they don't fit into either the gay or straight communities. They have no role models or support in which to understand their own reality, and feel alienated by a gay and straight community who don't fully understand or appreciate them. Trying to internalise society's "either or" philosophy is what causes the confusion in bisexuals. Bisexuality is a sexual orientation in its own right, even though its invisible in mainstream society.

When bisexuals discover the bisexual label, meet other bisexuals, and learn more about each other - this can help put rest to the confusion.

Are you confused? If you are not confused about who you have sexual feelings for then why would you think bisexuals are confused? They are not confused. Bi people know clearly that they could have a meaningful realtionship with either a woman or a man and fall in love.

A bisexual will always be bi. Even if they marry a man they don't turn straight and same if they marry a girl they don't turn into a lesbian, they are still bi.

What you said (in less words) is a myth. Here is a link you (and everybody else) should read. http://www.hrc.org/Template.cfm?Section=Coming_Out_as_Bi&Template=/ContentManagement/ContentDisplay.cfm&ContentID=32351

Sexuality is on a spectrum. Think of this spectrum as a line. One side of the spectrum is homosexuality. The extreme opposite side is heterosexuality. The mid-section on this spectrum is bi-sexuality. Our sexuality can lie anywhere in this spectrum. This is a very basic description because there are other types of sexuality that can be discussed.
Yes, confusion can occur especially during the development of sexuality. This being said: No bisexual folks are not just confused.

No, we are not confused. Ever since I was young, I have been equally attracted to men and women. It's not a phase, I've been this way since I can remember. If I were confused, I would have gotten over it by now as I am 24.

We are POSITIVE that we are sexually attracted to both sexes. Sorry to shatter an idea that you have but not everything fits into one of two catagories. My bisexual partner has dated about an equal number of guys and girls. For me, the gender of a person doesn't matter.

I am Bisexual and am in no way confused.
I simply am attracted to males and females... that's all. That is my identity. I am now more comfortable with my sexuality than I was in previous years.

Some of the fears we have is "coming out" and breaking it to our families and friends. My friends accept me... I have yet to approach my family because I am afraid of their reaction.... certainly, fear can become translated into confusion... but surely, most of us are not confused.

i think most of us go through a bisexual faze in teenage years, when we are still searching fior who we are. but no, i don't think grown-up bisexuals are confused. i actually think they are very liberal and understand that love and sexuality are not one and the same thing

People that are bisexual are just like anyone else, sometimes they like girls and boys at the same time, trust me we don't choose to be that way, if i could choose, i would be straight.

Bisexuals love who their hearts desires to love. It's not the sex of the person that bi's seek, it's the sex, affection, attention or what have you.
