I 'd say I'm a bit of both. If I'm looking though and a question is something I feel passionately about or know enough about to answer then I'll put in a serious answer. However, if the question is clearly having just for fun, and the question makes me laugh I'll try to answer in an amusing way too.

i use this site because it is fun, some serious questions out there and some fun. It is good to see what is on other peoples minds as i use it as a source of escapism away from the life i think is not that interesting at present. More to the point is that communication is the best education available to us and one that is severely under rated.:)

I have to admit it is a little of both...
I give a serious answer to serious questions... will give a funny answer to the jokes... stupid answers to the ridiculous, etc, etc....
It also breaks the boredom, and is a good way to relax on a night if there is nothing doing... and I have met a few decent people too....
So its an all round star site for me!!!

The beautiful thing about this site, is you can choose, Serious and interesting questions demand respect. Idiotic or fun question are just that. It is a game for your mind, it is safe and harmless, and on the rare occassion educational. So be happy and enjoy.

both i really try to help people who have a serious question
but then you get some stupid questions that i cant help but laugh and so i think well if your going to be stupid i might as well be it really can be good fun

It's got to be both. Some of the answers are side-splittingly funny - and they're the serious ones! Some people are so far up their own @r5e5!

I laugh at some of the questions and answers, but I'm becoming seriously hooked on it, so I'd say both!
