Why don't people take charge of Global Warming if its a huge crisis right now? I know were goin to be dead by now, but think if our children or grandchildren or something? Why don't people do something about it before its too late? I think its stupid if we take advantage of the earth.

Global warming is not a huge crisis, if you are referncing the Al Gore flick all he did was pull a Michael Moore. (he asked only those in his favor) The truth about global warming is that this is natural cycle, think of how huge the earth is, do you honestly believe that cities about 100 miles in diameter pin placed around the globe will actually destroy the entire earth over fifty years? It will destroy the surrounding area, but not the world. Ice is melting yes, what did you expect the earth to stay the same forever? Lets Recall Pangea, or the dinosaurs, or the Ice Age, or the land bridge between Russia and Alaska. Look at ancient cities that are being found under water...under water, human cities with roads. Civilization has only been around for about 40,000 years in that time we found old cities under water, but that wasnt caused by global warming, it was caused because the heating of the earth is natural, it heats and cools.
Are you aware that the Sahara Desert wasnt as big as it is now? or that the state of Texas was under water at one point in history?
Global warming caused by humans, yeah freaking right.
Let us make a sacrifice to the volcano god while we are at it.

I agree... But I know for myself I am so wrapped up in my personal life that global warming doesnt sound so bad. My main issue right now is how to keep a roof over my children heads, and food on their table...

First prove that something needs to be fixed, prove that man is the cause and man can be the solution, and prove that Earth would be better off if we messed with it. Then something can start to be done. The earth has been around 4.3 billion years, I find it hard to believe that we completely broke it in the last 50.

Your answer is in your question. I believe the word is "IF" . . . it's a huge crisis. The only crisis is that Al Gore couldn't win the Presidential election based on that delusion of his, along with his delusion that he invented the internet. Hmmm. God Bless you.

The problem lies with emerging third world countries that are not party to, or are exempt from international agreements on greenhouse pollution. What do you suggest?
