For girls I like the following:
Emily Grace
Jemima Kate
Amber Rose
Camilla
Charlotte
Eloise
Madison
Savannah
Bethany Eden
and for boys I like
Connor
Jamie
Alfie
Colby
Harrison
I don't like a lot of the modern names now, I am only 30 but there seem to be so many tacky names, or names that are so twisted to look original that the poor child would not know how to spell them. Remember this is something that will stick with the child for life, so don't call them something odd and make them an object of ridicule in the playground!

For a girl I always liked the sound of the name Bronti. It's the surname of famous English literary sisters,Charlotte and Emma, as I'm sure you will know, but it was also the name of the street where my Nan always lived. I also liked the names Sadie and Grace for girls, which are nice and traditional, but I had two boys so there you go.
My cousin named her son Yanti, he was called this for 9 months before she decided it sounded more like a girls name and changed it to Shen, which really suits him.

Oh how times change. None of these names have any appeal to me. I didn't think I was that old. Crumbs!
I don't think you'd be interested in any name I'd suggest. But do remember that not all names are clever. I have no idea, for example, how to pronounce your daughter's name and couldn't spell it if I hadn't seen it written down.........
Have fun with all the other answers though.

I like the name Rhys. If you want unusual names:
Girl:Jessenia, means "flower" in Arabic, apparently.
Boy: Rayner, which has a military meaning. And it originates from England.

If you are religious...a beautiful girls name is Mizpah (pronounced similarly to Lisa) ME-Spa It is a prayer "Lord watch between me and thee while we are absent from one another." I chose that as my daughters middle name.
My family is into Tolkien so named our daughter Galadriel (the lady of the woods). In the books, Galadriel is the youngest of 5 having 4 older brothers and that is exactly what our little Galadriel is ;-) so it fit her perfectly (she is the youngest of 5 and has 4 older brothers)
Best of luck. Baby names are fun!

My cousin has a cool name which is cute as can be, for a baby, but has substance, too. Xhosa. (pronounced like the Italian "cosa", meaning ours, but with a brighter S)
It's the name of the African tribe which Nelson Mandela is related to.
