1946. World War II was over and the Cold War had yet to begun. It was the dawn of a new era. Peace-time ushered in an era of hope and excitement. The American Dream was born and opportunities opened up for many in the middle-class with the advent of the GI Bill. The music was crooners, crooners, crooners, with the likes of Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby. The women had a look and style that defined them as being sexy and congenial at the same time. Going to the drive-in was the best form of entertainment and radio was still king! It was a simpler time that is somehow forgotten and in our world today will sadly never return.

I would like to go back to 1945 it was the end of the Second World War and exciting things were happening back then. The World in Europe and Asia was over and North American economy was booming and no one was worried about unemployment in Canada and The United States at that time. It was a year that would cause new countries to be formed over the next decades and countries that had colonies over seas were going to loose their domain over the world.

I would go back and do last year, 2005, all over again. Why?
My mother died in August. I would have 10 months with her again and maybe this time I could save her.

1990 ... I would have taken one look at my ex-husband and run !!!!! Would have saved me a lot of heartache.

The reason I didn't choose a more historically significant year is that any change in the fabric of space-time will significantly alter the lives and realities of everyone, and I don't want that responsibility.

Probably back to 1972. There were a lot of great rock and jazz acts who were in their prime, and I would have loved to see them live back then.
