My vote is "Ripple", from the Grateful Dead. If you haven't heard it, hit limewire and download it before you answer.

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung
Would you hear my voice come through the music
Would you hold it near as it were your own?

It's a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken
Perhaps they're better left unsung
I don't know, don't really care
Let there be songs to fill the air

Ripple in still water
When there is no pebble tossed
Nor wind to blow

Reach out your hand if your cup be empty
If your cup is full may it be again
Let it be known there is a fountain
That was not made by the hands of men
There is a road, no simple highway
Between the dawn and the dark of night
And if you go no one may follow
That path is for your steps alone
You who choose to lead must follow
But if you fall you fall alone
If you should stand then who's to guide you?
If I knew the way, I would take you home

Winter Light- By Sarah Brightman.

Hearts call
Hearts fall
Swallowed in the rain

Who knows
Life grows
Hollow and so vain

Wandering in the winter light
The wicked and the sane
Bear witness to salvation
And life starts over again

Now the clear sky is all around you
Aah aah
Love's shadow will surround you
All through the night

Star glowing in the twilight
Tell me true
Hope whispers and I will follow
'Till you love me too

Ah ah ah

Now the clear sky is all around you
Aah aah
Love's shadow will surround you
All through the night

Star glowing in the twilight
Tell me true
Hope whispers and I will follow
'Till you love me too

Ah ah ah

This is song is beautiful & genuine. I think everyone should hear it just because it's beautiful to listen to.

Ripple is a good song, but doesn't make me hold my breath to listen. There are three that do that:
Angel by Sarah McLaughlan
Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkle
Fragile by Sting

Any song written by Diane Warren, "Because You Loved Me" and "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" are just a couple of examples.
