The pool is ready to swim in right now. But, if you have well water & not city water, and you add chlorine, the water will turn brown because of the minerals in the water. You can get a chemical to remove minerals from water at any pool store. run the mineral remover for three days & backwash the pump twice a day and then add your chlorine. But I'm guessing that you have 1 of those blow up pools, so just take the filter element out and rinse it out with your garden hose. If you are on city water you just will have to add chlorine as normal & not worry about minerals. You CAN swim in the pool even with the mineral remover in the water. I drive a pool water truck for a living, thats why I know this....hope this helps.

Depends on the weather:-
1. if it's windy it could cause currents which may suck you under and you must be life guard trained to know how to swim out of a strong current.
2. If it's raining it may become very deep which could lead to a hazard of drowning.
3. If there are hailstones the size of golf balls (depending on where u live) there is a high risk of getting concussed and knocked unconscious (also leading to drowning)
4. If the pool ices over due to freezing conditions there is a chance you could 'jump in' not realising which could easily cause a slipped disc, a broken coccyx or even fatalities.
and last but not least....
5. Keep yor eye out for snow whilst swimming, you could soon get snowed in if you turn yor back, this could lead to the awfull circumstances of you getting 'snowed in' this could lead to a minimum of frost-bite and in some cases DEATH
Have fun swimming and don't forget "If the RED flag is flying - it means DANGER!"

It is probably safe to swim in it now...although depending where you live filling a pool with tap water is against the law.

Go to your local swimming pool shop, get some pool chlorine and a chlorine level test kit. Any chlorine you add will deplete in time, therefore keep the level of chlorine topped up.

I am not sure, but my daughters pool stayed clear for almost a week, uncovered, she was in it daily and was never ill. I'd like to know of a product to put in it to keep it from going green and slimy, we have this problem every year, emptying and refilling is not the best option when you have a water meter.

Yes. But the chlorine added by the water company will have disappeared by tomorrow. Adding some sterilising fluid will solve that problem.

It will be safe to use tomorrow but to be honest I wouldn't get in it without chemicals in it to kill off any germs specially if children are gonna be using it.
