I have had 2 attempts at reversal and both failed. The doctor did too good a job on the vasectomy. I would see the doctor who actually performed the vasectomy and ask him how much he removed because there are several ways to perform the procedure, some are more "permanent" than others.

How does that work? I was under the impression that the vasectomy procedure was permanent because it actually removes the tissue, which, theoretically, would never grow back even if surgically re-attached.

$13k is about as cheap as you can possibly go without finding the services of a dislicensed con artist. Also be forewarned: vasectomy reversal is a crap shoot--NO guarantees of success.
