Well they have been the most consistant team left in the competition, and seem to be getting better with each game.
They will also have the huge advantage of playing at home, and the fact that nobody in Germany thought that they would even reach the Quarter Finals has lifted a lot of pressure off of the Germans shoulders, they also have a great stirkeforce who work so hard for each other.
But the Italians are no mugs especially if they go a goal up. They are masters at defending a 1 goal lead, and some of the players are beginning to show that they can do it on the BIG stage (Totti). In Rino Gattuso they have a player who will die for the Azzuri shirt and in Buffon 1 of the best Keepers in World Football. Cannavaro is also immense at the back
Portugal look spent but will fancy their chances of beating anybody on Penalties. Ricardo is something of a spot kick saving specialist. And like the French it's last chance saloon time for a few of them. A big bonus will be the return of playmaker Deco and Defender Costinha. Deco makes the Portuguese tick and can create goals out of nothing
And France will not be easy to beat cos a LOT of the French players are playing at their LAST World Cup, so they will scrap for everything and will NOT go out with a wimper. Zidane is beginning to reach the hieghts we all know he is capable of and has been the stand out player in the Knock Out Rounds.
They also have a few players who are out to make a big name for themselves like Frenck Ribery

Also, the other 3 teams left in the World Cup are low life cheats and an embarrassment to football.

Well, maybe the family is nice, or maybe they're nice to your son. I have an Argentine friend whose father was a naval officer and traveled around Europe a lot, and she absolutely hated living in Germany because people were so rude to her. I'm not saying all Germans are like that, but there's good and bad in every country.
