In ~seven hundred years, a global magnetic polarity flux reversal will expose the earth to unshielded cosmic radiation for an unknown period. What will happen to humanity? Will only the wealthy survive underground/water with food provisions for several years? Must the rest die a horrible death like the victims of atomic warfare, only prolonged by temporally distributed radiation?

I don't know where you heard about this impending "magnetic polarity flux reversal", but I can say with certainty that only God can destroy this world and any or all of the earth's population. He would never destroy the earth. When He created the earth he pronounced it 'good'. The scriptures tell us that God has a purpose for the earth. The bible also tells us that we are living today in a time like that of Noah. In Noah's day the world teemed with wickedness. For 40 years while Noah and his family were building the ark that God had instructed them to build for their survival through a global flood that He (God) was going to bring upon a wicked world, they (Noah and his family) preached a warning to all of the living inhabitants of that day so that any who would listen could be saved. No-one listened so that when God closed the door of the ark after Noah and his family had entered it according to His instructions, the rest of the world that was alive at that time perished in the flood. Only Noah and his family were saved. God always gives a warning and a way out when he plans destruction for a wicked world or group of people. This is born out in the holy scriptures. This old system of things is like it was in Noah's day. We are living in the last days and God is giving a warning and there will be survivors. Seek the truth.

First of all, NO human will be alive in 700 years, if continues to behave like that in nature.
Furthermore I have never heard this opinion about this magnetic flux and I don't believe it anyway. Who has told that? Is that a conclusion you have after reading researches and that stuff from SERIOUS researchers and scientists or is No 24 (nobody cares) of TV magazine? It all seems and smells s-hit to me.

If humans are still around in 700 years, we will probably have colonized beyond our own solar system by then.

...not sure where you got the 700 year number though.

Humans will all perish; that's the best case scenario. Those who don't may wish they had.
