Hi I did Egypt also stayed in TBA heights.
contact longwoods travel they are good, you can plan everything here and pay here, 2 days in Cairo and the pyramids are enough for your first visit, then you can pop ac cross to Israel and see the oceanographic tower and marine sanitary, swim with dolphins, get a good tan and eat good food.
Its worth that little extra, you can even be spat on by a camel.

Cairo could be the capital of Egypt and one of the biggest cities in Africa and the Middle East and a good place to go to; discover more with hotelbye . On the Nile river, Cairo is well-known for its own record, maintained in the wonderful medieval Islamic town and Coptic websites in Old Cairo. The Egyptian Museum in the heart of area is vital see, with its countless Old Egyptian artefacts since number trip to Cairo will be total with out a stop by at the Giza Pyramids, and to the nearby Saqqara Pyramid Complex. In Cairo you can see: The Pyramid of Cheops (also called the Great Pyramid or Pyramid of Khufu), the greatest pyramid of the Giza group, and their inside of slim passages may be investigated, although there is not significantly to see, except a plain tomb step by having an empty sarcophagus. Directly behind the Great Pyramid could be the Solar Ship Museum, which displays one of the ceremonial solar barques unearthed in the region that's been meticulously restored to their original glory. More south on the plateau may be the Pyramid of Chephren (also referred to as the Pyramid of Khefre), which has an inside tube place which can be entered.

Hey - it really depends a lot on what else you want from Egypt, apart from just seeing the pyramids. You can go and stay somewhere with a beach (either have to be Alexandria or somewhere on the Sinai Peninsula (Red Sea), such as Taba Heights) but you'll find next to zero real Egyptian culture there - it's purely aimed at tourists/divers/golfers, nothing else. You could stay at Luxor (Crocodile Island is highly recommended if you want to be just far enough out of the City Centre) where you can also see AMAZING stuff like Luxor and Karnak temples, the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, etc. but with either of those options, you'd be looking at taking a seperate flight or a VERY long coach/rail journey to get to the pyramids, and then you'd only have limited time. Alternatively, you wanna stay in Cairo or even Giza (where the pyramids are! But Cairo is basically attached to Giza - they meld into one in the middle) - there's so much to see and do in Cairo, I don't understand why people only go for a day trip - would you go to London or New York for a day trip!?!). Cairo is filthy, noisy, polluted and totally crazy, however it's also fascinating, beautiful, unbelievably historical, very safe and the people are (almost) universally very friendly. There are some truly amazing sights to be seen there, especially if you're prepared to travel properly - ie: make the effort yourself and wander away from all the tourist bullsh*t. I wouldn't recommend any Western female to walk around alone, unless you're VERY hard-nosed (would apply that to a most world-cities though) but unfortunately while the stereotype of the lecherous Arab male is NOT universal by any means, there are a far higher number of smutty, leering, smarmy b*stards in Egypt than anywhere else I've EVER been. That said, there are of course a great many lovely people too. If you have a reasonably confident male travelling partner, then just forget paying £40 for crappy tours (with the obligatory tedious stops at endless papyrus/perfume "museums") and just get to Cairo, find a decent taxi driver who speaks a bit of English, and then have him as your personal driver for however long you're there, and do everything on your own - WAY better (can give you a number if you're interested). We had a nice guy with good English and no sympathy for the endless touts and blaggers drive us on a 40mile round trip, over the course of about 5hrs, which cost about £10. Plus I had someone knowledgable to talk to, he introduced me to his friends, we took as long or as little time as we wanted, etc. So much better. Anyway, go early to the pyramids, be polite but firm with all the would-be "guides", and you won't let all the crap that so many people have allowed to jade their experience of an amazing country spoil your experience of the only remaining true wonder of the world! Email if any questions.

in case you stay contained in the most time-honored area of Egypt, Sharm el Skeik, it really is round 6 hours faraway from the pyramids, when I went many years in the past we did a mini cruise to the pyramids and went to the museum there that's outstanding. you somewhat wont be upset, so going to ascertain the pyramids even as your in Egypt is a could. I cant undergo in ideas how a lot it value precisely besides the undeniable fact that it wasn't that extreme priced. besides the undeniable fact that, be careful that the you'll come for the era of many beggers and %. wallet depending round the pyramids so save your possessions probability-free.
