don;t worry the supream court has lade the fondation for impeachment. when they declared the unlawful admistrative coomands by bush for the guamtonimo trials, now all demicarates have to do is get control of the house then they can start impeachment on bush and chenney, then we will have are first female presadent i do not mean hilliary the minority speaker is female. and would be next inline for presedent. the question then comes into play will they oust bush and chenney together or seperate

I think everybody places too much value on polls.
I have been around for a while, have lots of family and friends, and don't know anyone who was ever polled for any current events.
I think the polls are skewed towards whoever is making money from the polls.
I bought a car once and received a J.D. Power questionaire. The salesman asked me to bring it to the dealership when I got it in the mail. He traded it for a free oil change. Then gave himself good ratings, so that he could keep his numbers up, and keep his job.
Why believe the polls, or the press.
Bush is keeping the troops there until the job is done. To publish a time table for withdrawl will only cost more lives.
And apparently, if Bush did have a plan to bring troops home, he can't talk about it, if the press would get a whiff of a withdrawal plan, they would publish it, and cause more troop deaths.
Also, don't forget, CONGRESS approved troop deployment. Bush did not act alone, a president does not have that power.

First off Nixon was the President that got us out of Vietnam. Second off he opened talks between the US and China. He was probably one of the best foreign policy President's we have ever had.
Third you can't impeach a President because you don't like him, he has to break the law, not only does he have to break the law you have to prove it.

Fourth where would you rather have our soldiers be during a time of war, and national crisis, in enemy territory fighting for your freedom or in your backyard? Think about it.

You cannot impeach a president without cause. That is, there has to a provable impeachable offense that, in this case, President Bush, has committed. And there is not really one to be found.

The Case: Let's look at so-called offenses.
1)Lying about WMD--No one knew there was not any.
2)Sending troops into Iraq--Iraq was an enemy who was threatening our aircraft flying the north and south no fly zones. Iraq had invaded Kuwait and was a destabilizing influence and a threat against other neighbors.
3)Keeping troops in Iraq--who says he really will? The Iraqis? They want them out. The generals? Want them out, too, Congress? The politicians want them out. And Bush wants them out, he just won't tip his hand by giving a date certain--the most absurd thing he could do.
4)Bush skipped out on some Air Guard duty--likely didn't happen, absences were made up as allowed.
What else is there?

Each of these taken on face value as charges for impeachment are false and basically absurd. It is just political talk in a political year by vindictive and powerless politicians.

Because being unpopular is not a valid reason for impeachment. The only way that the president can be impeached is if it can be proven before Congress that the President has done something against the law. Unfortunately, though, being unpopular is not a crime.

Impeach him, you got Cheney. Impeach Cheney, you got Hastert--All evil sobs. A better thing to do is for the Democrats to gain majority in the house and senate; bush's power will decrease dramatically without his Republicans in control.

jane you ignorant slut....(from Chevy Chase SNL)

You cant just go impeaching presidents cuz they dont do what u think is correct. That makes the US look weak and unorganized, more so than we really are. I agree, bush is an idiot. So was our other choice back when we couldve upgraded to a non-coke snorting prez. come election time hopefuly the US will get its head outta its *** and vote someone that will turn the US around.. GO VOTE!!!!

Because Republicans control Congress. Work and vote for Democrats on Nov. 7.

You don't impeach a President for being unpopular...he has to commit an impeachable offense..be a criminal, etc. I know people say that he has done these things.....but I am one of those waiting for proof.
