Give me some ideas to tell my parents why I should get a cell phone!

Young people should be reachable by their parents at all times, so a cell phone helps them keep track of you.
In an emergency, you could get help no matter where you are.
You got a job, so you will be paying for it.
It will teach you responsibility.
You promise to walk it every day, and keep it's water dish filled.
