A few months ago (march) i got my belly button pierced. Just recently i bought a new ring to put into it, but when i tried to unscrew the top, it wont come off. There is no amount of physical force that will allow the jewlery to unscrew itself. What should i do?

OK. there are a few things that could be. it could be that the threads on/in the ring are crossed meaning it wasnt put on properly, and yes it is very stuck. you are going to need small pliers and some help with that. could try a little bit of lubrication oil ( little bit)
It could be also that there is some gunk that may have dried in the threads of the ring from the healing process. If this is the case you should use some peroxide and water and some soap.. and try to get the gunk softened enough and you can use pliers to get it off.

If it is the new ring ( that you havent put in yet) and the top wont come off Im assuming that it is a banana shaped ring with a large end and a small end. ... One of the ends might not be threaded. On mine the small ball at the top was stuck to it/soild pieice... the larger jewel on the end of it was where the threads were.

Go to your piercer or any other experienced piercer and have them change it out. They will more than likely know how to get it off. Plus, you can check your new jewelry with them to make sure you won't have a bad reaction to it.

You can visit a local tatoo parlor/peircer and have them take the belly ring out for you.

Try to lubricate it then try unscrewing it.

I think that is why I have not pierced mine.
