First, you will have to make sure itunes is installed on the system as well as the ipod, and whenever you connect the ipod to the system it shows up on itunes, if this is done all you have to do is make sure that the songs you download go into your itunes and then drag and drop the songs onto the ipod window, wait for the songs to be copied into your ipod and then eject the ipod.

You load them into iTunes (using File/Add Folder to Library... if necessary) and then plug in your iPod. It will sync automatically.
