I used to live in Seattle - Sleepless in Seattle is a pretty obvious one. :)
The scene from Disclosure where Michael Douglas is trying to catch a ferry boat was filmed on Bainbridge Island, where I grew up. Incidentally, he tried to play some golf at a private course while he was there filming and rumor has it that he was kicked off the golf course by the locals at the country club who weren't too impressed with his credentials.

yes, i used to live in Natchitoches, Lousinia. this is a small town. i forgot what the movie is called, but it was made in the 1980s.
