i have been in love with my high school boyfriend. I can't seem to get over him and it has been years. He is currently with someone and I am married.

whenever you think about him, make yourself stop. Realize he wasn't perfect, otherwise you would still be together. Remember the happy times, but when you do, remember why you broke up.

well thats hard...I think we all keep a little bit of our hearts for our first love...but you need to realise it ended for a reason and ya'll were not meant to be together for eternity...its sad and hard to accept soemtimes. But, try concentrating on all that your current hub did to make you fall in love with him in the first place. Ever think that things may not be as exciting right now with ya'll so you keep thinkin back to the ex?

most people in life have to learn to get over their first love. very very few of us actually get to marry them...but let me ask you a question why did you get married if you are still in love with someone else? you should have made sure you were over him before getting married because now you have a much more complicated situation then just " i cant get over him.." think about it.....

It's time to cut your losses and move on or you will never be happy. I loved a man secretly for years and was never happy until I finally allowed myself to stop loving him. It does nothing but cause you pain and could cost you a marriage if your hubby ever found out.
