People seem to think that those who are on the computer more than just for work must not have a life. I find that condenscending and frankly crap. Everyone I know that is on the computer has a life, and most of the time a very full and fun life. What do you fellow answerers think :-)

I believe that people who would insist that would do it out of fear and ignorance.. they need to justify the reasons they have for not using a computer.. .. they don't realize that the average persons 3 to 5 hours of TV a day is slowly becoming computer time if not simultaneous activity.. it would be interesting to me to know how much time those who believe a computer is a waist of time spend watching television.. or what they do in there free time for that matter.. i believe that a computer can be a clever way to create a life where one didn't exist.. I've ended up playing Sims on-line to the point where my Sim got more sleep that me and i held my own bladder so that my Sim could empty its own.. then I've also expanded my creative abilites.. wrote books.. educated myself on many subjects.. developed sites devoted to special interest.. expanded my creative horizon... stream linked and pod cast capabilities so that i can listen to my favorite radio shows when I'm at work commercial free..
the potentials of an well integrated computer lifestyle blow away any alternative..
how hard can it be to defend this idea when the president is on television promoting myspace as the next evolution in interpersonal communications?

I have a life, it's just all on the computer.
Actually, I've got a good off-line life and a good on-line life and I can balance the two without any trouble.

I spend most day on the computer just because it's funt o surf,listen to music,watch tv shows,music vids,games,etc I can pretty much enjoy anything i can away from the computer as on my computer

they figure that someone must not have nothin else better to do with their time than to be on the computer 24/7.
