I hope so! Even though I had heard instead of an X-Men 4 there would be a Wolverine movie...can hardly wait either way!

No, there will not be. In the works are separate movies spun-off from the X-men series revolving around Wolverine and Magneto.

I'm thinking from the end they wanted there to be an option if there was enough attention about it ... but, I think Hugh Jackman is in the works for a Wolverine movie ... so it'll be a long time if there is one ..

I heard that 3 was going to be the last and they were going to make movies following wolverine and magneto before these movies took place.

I checked yahoo before i went to see it and it said x-3 would be the
last movie but spinoff movies were possible. sorry to be the
bearer of bad news.
