Well the black one costs 200 extra dollars and the only difference is that it is black and has a 80GB hardrive. If you would buy the white one with the 2.0GHz and upgrade it to an 80GB hardrive you would have the exact same specs except for the color and would only pay $1,349. The white one also comes with a 1.83GHz processor which is a bit slower but it only costs $1,099, while the black one has a 2.0GHz and cost $1,499
Here are the basic configurations and their prices
13 inch: white
1.83GHz Intel Core Duo
1.83GHz Intel Core Duo
512MB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x256
60GB Serial ATA drive
Combo Drive
Keyboard/Mac OS - U.S. English

$1,099.00

There have been some problems with the White MacBooks staining on the panels. It doesn't seem to be widespread, but it is something to consider. Other than the color and the upped price for the black machine, the black ones shouldn't have that problem so it's really a personal preference.

Well, it's more of a fashion thing. They're both the same computer. But on the white ones, the plastic has a tendancy to discolor very easily, so if you like your computer to keep on looking nice, then I would recommend that you get the black one.

instantaneous Headset some months in the past I went to brilliant purchase and offered a instantaneous Headset (Logitech G930) for approximately $100. for the period of circumstances when I did not opt to exhibit on my 5.a million laptop audio equipment, i wanted something to interchange the former headphones I were utilizing. That became between the superb purchases i have made in modern-day historic previous. having the potential to stroll round my homestead with music taking area in... having volume controls.. and music next/back buttons.. and outfitted in Mic for chatting became somewhat cool. in reality, i exploit them almost as a lot as my Logitech Z-5500 audio equipment... that's something to imagine about..

the black one has a bigger hard drive and it looks sweet. and as for the person that answered saying that apple can't run 80% of the software, they're stupid. they can run windows now
