Yes Rooney is a great Footballer, And *may* be a bit of a thug, But if you take that element out of Rooney's game, He will not be HALF the player he is now.
Likewise Stevie Gerrard comes from a right hard Liverpool family, allegedly. but he does'nt act the spoilt brat that Rooney does.
Gerrard has grown up now, and maybe Rooney needs to grow up too and SOON, but remember he is a young lad.
Remember Beckham was a spoilt little brat too.

Rooney a Scouser thug?Ok so he is hot tempered and needs somebody to calm him down but he will learn in time.Thug?Never, Rooney has done more charity work in his short career than some of these Rooney knockers will do in a lifetime. We never see or read the good things about the lad, only the worst, because it sells papers.Stop knocking the lad and praise him for what he is,a great footballer, everybody has got a temper, and we cant always control it,Rooney is no different.

It seems every year there are talks about Rooney's future but it never comes to fruition. This time is different however, as Sir Alex Ferguson is gone. I think he is certainly leaving but to where is a tough call. I think Real Madrid is certainly the front runner but I wouldn't be suprised if big spenders PSG pull a swoop de swoop and offer a monster bid. An inside source near Neymar and Santos has said that a deal to Munich is "locked up." It's not a rumor anymore, the bid is in and this summer Neymar is going to Munich which would make it hard to Munich to spend another huge chunk of cash for Rooney's services. I say he shocks everybody and goes to PSG.
