So many people with big, beautiful blue eyes swear that their eyes are green, and the same for people with brown eyes. I see no green at all in their eyes, but they are beautiful nevertheless. Why would they think that their sky-blue eyes are green?

some people are color blind, some people are confused, some people are in denial. unless they have tricky tricky eyes. mine are a dark hazel but they look brown til up close.

Sounds like your having trouble seeing color. Go to an eye doctor. Some peoples eyes change shade in different light. Making green eyes look blue or brown.

I would like to see a pic example of your theory...cause there is a big difference between blue and green. Makes me wonder if it's you.
btw mine are hazel: My eyes have different colored rings that blend together. the outside ring is blue with the inner ring green and the innermost ring is gold. They all bleed or blend into each other.
I wonder if that is what your seeing just the outer color and not the rest? Although I think my eyes are strange...but everyone tells me they love my eyes without my asking. I've been told they look like marbled glass. I guess beauty is in the Eye of the beholder. :)

Some people with blue eyes may think they are green because of certain clothes they wear. Their eyes reflect what they are wearing. Same as, why is the sky blue?

my friend has blue eyes that turn green when he wears a certain colors. I have green in my brown eyes, but i call them brown. I think it is actually hazel.

maybe they want green eyes, so they say they do to try to make it seem that way...no offense to anyone!
my eyes are blue with green around the pupil...im not just saying that either! it changes too, sometimes my eyes are almost all green and then there more blue...depends

I notice a lot of people say that to. Mine are Hazel (light brown and Green) and and change bright green when i'm mad or frustrated.

I don't know, but mine are brownish-hazel and they change with my moods. They can be anywhere from dark brown to blazing green. Most of the time though, they are hazel near the center and brown rimmed.

Good question, but I definately see GREEN in my 4yr old great-granddaughter's eyes...Blue-green & she sees green too :)

maybe the eye color changes with the clothes they wear..i couldnt tell you my sons eye color its always changin..its gone from slate blue to a greenish brown
