Yes, Germany has a better team than Italy.
Germany 2-1 over Italy; but France beat Germany 2-1 for the Word Cup Championship game.

yes indeed Italy so far hasn't shown any football is been all lucky bounces for the Italians that are nothing to fear about; they just cant score and Germany is scoring in bunches, besides Germany has been playing against harder and more competitive teams,no ties no loses no excuses no fraudulent goals and no lucky bounces ; Italy defeated Germany earlier this year in a friendly match, we all know that but this is the world cup and Germany is delivering with precision and clear wins, on the other hand the Italians are so scare that they are trying to pay fifa to sanction or suspend opponent players,so there it is Germany is playing Italy is paying, but that has never worked for Italy they are not an overwhelming team they couldn't do it in Italy 90 so what makes you think that they will win in Germany, Germany is going to take Italy with a big spank 4-0 or 5-2 then they will take on Portugal that will win against France , and take the well deserved world cup.

I like the Italians (Forza Squadra Azzuri and all that...) but I just can't see them beat the Germans.

I mean, the Germans are so much more organized - Teutonic efficiency, that's the word for it. And they have earned every win. Italy, on the other hand, has made it this far after quite a few lucky scrapes (the Aussie incident being the most prominent). And the Italians haven't been scoring as regularly as the Germans. Plus, the Germans have the 12th man on their side - no, not the referee (Mr. Benito Archundia from Mexico; decent chap), but the home fans. Anyway, we shall have to wait and see what happens.

I think so. First, because Germany is the host country and it is going to receive some extra "help". Second, because they have a very decent team. Third, because Klose and Podolsky are excellent players. Fourth, because they are playing in Germany. And finally, because they're better than the Italians.

There is no team in the world that can beat the german squad right now. Their big challenge was the game against Argentina and they showed that they are (presently) unstoppable.

The GER-ITL game will go without a hitch 2-0.

Hopefully not ;-)

But they may. They have the home field advantage, after all.

You know, it depends how their players will wake up tomorrow. On paper both teams are good.
