I'm 22. I just moved into a new complex. It's pretty good size with a blend of all ages of people. There aren't really any big community wide events or anything that I'm aware of.

We just moved into a new apartment complex too. The only thing we know of is to go to the pool. Maybe walk around the complex in the evening and see if anyone is hanging out outside.

Ask the complex if they hold community events, or go to the pool the fitness room, laundry mat or car wash on the premises. If all fails since you have access to the Internet, go to "YAHOO" {SINGLES} and view different people w/pic and exchange friendly conversations with them. Or go to Match.com or Singles.com. Just be careful of the FREAKS out there and always let someone know where you are going and meet in a public place. Good Luck :)

Don't rush it! If there is a pool, go jump in, get some sun, hopefully, others will be at the pool. Ask if there is an activity room.

You can ask a neighbor where the nearest 7-11 is located, or, SonicBurger, or anything, to start a conversation, and generate a conversation.

Go hang out by the pool or fitness room and introduce yourself to your neighbors. Check with the manager if there is anything going on.

Set off the fire alarm.
Then blame it on the most unnappealing person you see.
You become a hero for pointing out the culprit.
There are no losers in this scenario.
