In March 2006 the show was put on a 2 week hiatus with Danza stating he "didn't know" if or when the show would return. However, fears that the show was cancelled then were put to rest when the show returned after the scheduled 2 weeks. However, during the March 24th broadcast, Tony said that the show would "unlikely" be picked up for a third season.

May 26, 2006 was the last live broadcast of the program. The show will now air in repeats for the remainder of the summer before being taken off the air before the start of the fall season.

Where I live, ABC was showing Danza and then it was moved to the WB.

I don't understand how they pick and choose. ABC had the Wayne Brady show and he even won two daytime Emmys for outstanding talk show host and they cancelled him too.

To the people who say Tony Danza is a joke...

There used to be a saying in Hollywood if a show was starting to choke, see if you could bring in Tony Danza. The guy was a ratings boost, guaranteed.

Talk show gold?? I tried to watch it a few times. It was okay, but the morning/afternoon slot is over saturated with soaps, court shows, and Dr Phil.

BTW...when he flipped that go cart and crushed his head...hilarious.

Tony Danza is a tool. I have not heard that the show has been cancelled, though.

It did get cancelled permanently!...I never liked any of the shows He appeared in...They were all so Corny, with Laughtracks dubbed in wherever something was "supposed to be" Funny!...I really don't think he has much Acting Talent.

Maybe he should have kept @ boxing instead?

Because it's Tony Danza.

It just might be a season finale not the end of the show. I have not watched his show or heard anything about it being cancelled.

Yes it is permanently cancelled; I figure because it wasn't getting good ratings, which usually means it sucked. But I never saw it myself.

I'm not sure but I watched his show a couple of times and in my eyes his show was nothing special...so if it was taken off the air I will tell you this much I will not loose any sleep over it....
