Harrods is fab- esp. the food market -amazing

The British Museum (I guess any museum there ) will take all day. I spent 2 hours with a 'london walks' tour and saw quite a bit but there is still so much more to see.
You could take the tube get off at the "London eye" only spend the money if it's clear then you can walk towards the Tower Bridge go past Tate Modern and Globe Theater, walk across Tower Bridge. Tower of London is 15 pounds to get in and unless you're there at 9 the line ups (ques) are mad. St Katherines docks are there . Catch a cruise back to the tube station (about 6 pounds) thenif you have any energy left you can walk towards Trafalgar square, past Big Ben , Parliment buildings, Westminster abbey then walk up towards Buckingham palace (they change the gurds at 11 am) Hang out at St. James Park and watch the pelicans
Awesome place- can't wait to go back, lucky you

Don't go to the Tower of London unless you have lots of money and time (I've been in London a while, never went, never missed it). If you want to go to museums, bear in mind permanent collections are free, so I recommend you go to the Tate (Britain and Modern), National Gallery and National Portrait.

But with a weather like this, you should enjoy what London does best: parks. Regent, Hyde, Hampstead. If you go to Primrose Hill Park, you'll have a beautiful view of London. Go to Kew Gardens and Richmond Park if you can. Walk by the Thames (Southbank from Westminster Bridge to Tower Bridge, make a stop at the Tate Modern), go to St Katharine's Docks, which are beautiful. And if you're here this weekend, do markets as well... Portobello Road, Camden, maybe Spitafield Market (this one is covered, so do it if it rains).

The London Eye is without a doubt the best tourist attraction. It's amazing on a sunny day.

Trafalgar Square, where you can look upon Nelson's column and realise how glorious it was when he beat the French. That or the fountain.

Parliament, then just down the road is the London Eye, then further along is Tower Bridge, and Tower of London. There are so many things to see, and do. Particularly shopping, but that's just me.

my answer is just to find a seat on embankment and watch the world past by. you cannot find anything more varied or interesting, and each time you see something different- it has to be the most varying tourist attraction in the wonderful place that is London!!!
