Yes, if it for what is supposed to be used. To help, join, communicate, provide information, soundly and unharmfully have fun, aims-giving, purchase, know of news, weather or sports among others.
Otherwise, it might be a very harmful weapon. A weapon as
to eavesdrop, steal, cheat or commit any crime for example.
I think it is like a car. A car can be a helpful vehicle if it is used as
an ambulance to save lives. However, it can be used as a killing machine. Is it good or is it bad a car? I think it depends on the
way it is used for.

In the main, yes it is. It is just such a shame that it can be used so badly. I mean, I have found it very convenient to be able to look up something so quickly and also to be able to keep in touch more regularly with people who I otherwise would not. The bad things are that my partner now seems he would rather spend time on here than with me and I have to say that me being on here is often more fun than being with him.

yes the internet is a world of wonder if you want it to be. on the other hand it is a slum if you want it to be.
it can be good and it can be bad.
the internet is the users choice in what it is.
a gun, good if used correctly at any time
bad if used incorrectly at any time
conclusion: the internet is whatever the user want's it to be.

It depends what you do with it - personally I think it's a good thing but there are many sick people out there who use it in the wrong way.

it depends on how you use it :
- if you are searching for some info, internet is very helpful
- to know what is going on with your friends from far places
- educational
also has disadvantages if you use it to harass someone,
