how come these days there aren't any really talent singers out there coming out of the blue? Such as leAnn Rimes who started at 14 and is now 23, she is probably the only person to have a greatest hits cd before her 21st birthday, that is how good of a singer she is. And Celine dion, who sang in front an agent when she was young and made him cry because she was soo good. Those two young singers that were like 11 and 13 on "america's got talent" aren't even close to LeAnn and Celine.

kelly clarkson is okay at singing....but i'm talking about pure raw talent on celine, josh groban, and leAnn rimes scale.

the record companies aren't really looking for the best singers anymore either. They want pretty faces that sell with just good enough singing talents to get by.

I think we don't hear about these because real raw talented singers are being used for real good music, not the crap out there right now ... I'm not sure I'd put Leann Rimes in the category of raw talent ... she's not all that good ... never really was ...

What about Kelly Clarksen? She didn't get into singing because she was a sibling or because her family was rich, she got on American Idol and won based on pure talent.
