Bottom could be defined as the lowest point of an object on which it sits on. However, you cant defined the that in a 3 dimensional object without a reference point. However if you look at it in the 4th dimension, massive objects bend space and time and black holes rips it. So in this case, i would say the bottom of the galaxy would be the massive black hole in the center of the milky way.

Never mind how far away the galaxy is. Look for the closest dictionary instead. It will do you more good.
