If you are older, it might be that your collarbone has grown so that it interferes with your arm muscles. By older, I mean over 45 years old.

What kind of pain? It could be the way you sleep, maybe a pulled muscle
Or if the pain is in between your shoulder blades it could be gallstones, you should call your doctor and get checked out.

It can be arthritis. I get that at times off and on. Take Motrin 800 mg. ibuprofen.

The best thing for me was to ice it down and go to the doc and have then do some electric thing. it works great.

u should get a body pillow and put it on our side. u can get it at target or alot of other places too.
