If you live in or near a metropolitan area you will find lots of second hand stores besides Goodwill that offer name brands at great prices. If you want new stuff you might try home shopping network online, they have some very good designer clothing. If you check their sales departments you can find really good bargains, you just have to be willing to search through a lot of stuff. The really good deals are limited in sizes and colors and are on sale because they are almost out of stock so you have to look through a lot of stuff that might not be in your size to find what you like and that will fit.

Places like your local consognment shop, Volunteers of America, Platos closet, Marshalls, AJ Wright, Ebay. There are several places you can get stuff from. You may even try the clearances racks at the store. Normally Gap has a very good selection on clearance and it is cheap.

Go to the other thrift stores too. Just always make sure the clothes fit and are not torn or missing buttons, or stained. Then wash them before you wear them. I can get a whole years clothes that way for $100.

Try Marshalls or T.J. Max, and if you don't mind buying online, e-bay. Also, depending on where you live there may be namebrand resale shops - you just have to look for them in the phone book or online.

Go to your local consignment shop. You'll find them in the yellow pages. Often the stuff there is brand-new with tags on it. If not, it's BARELY used. (The stuff has to be immaculate for them to take it.)
