If there was another wold out there that acually had humas on it, would we be able to find out or even get there. They might even have the cure for some some illnesses, or better technology, or even better resoures!

Wishful thinking doesn't bode well in fact.

Assuming the the nearest star body is 26LY from our sun.. Exploration is a problem.

Solve the intergalactic travel issue first, then perhaps one could first a N-O atmosphere near one of a billion stars in our galaxy. then from their you would have to look for a planet with similarities in H20/Carbon cycle, even then to find a planet with the unique habitability is impossible in the near term 1-1000 years. You would have to find a solar group at a similar level on a galactic plane. Also similar distance from Sun, and similar gravitational conditions to be habitable.

The rarity is in somewhere in the neighborhood of 1-26E10

Scientists have not yet found any planets that are capable of sustaining human life, however, they have identified galaxies that have the right conditions for creating and sustaining life.

We probably are not far from technologies that would allow us to terraform Mars. Give it about a century and that would very likely be your answer.
