for some reason no mascara seems to work on my lashes. what should i do?

if your lashes are dark enough, all you need to do is put eyeliner that matches your eylash colour on your top lid right on the lash line, then put a little vaseline on your eyelashes and curl them with an eyelash curler. it works, and i also read it in life&style magazine.

Apply mascara over the top and bottom of the lash and curl your eyelashes before hand with an eyelash curler that has been warmed with a hair dryer for maximum impact.

what kind of look are you trying to get with mascara. If you want to darken and lengthen your lashes use Daring Definition by Avon works wonders, if you want you lashes to curl better, try a waterproof mascara and one of those heated eyelash curlers. Waterproof works better using a eyelash curler. Volumizing use extreme volume by Avon. I love they're mascaras because it does what it's supposed to do and they are very affordable. Not sure what you mean, that it doesn't work but mascara is to be applied in coats, usually one to three. The more you add the greater the risk of that clumpy look. Mascaras don't lengthen your lashes like they show in the commercials, most of the models have false eyelashes on... so don't expect those results.

make sure you apply the mascara both on top and bottom of your top lashes (as if you're blinking while holding the wand against your eyelash). Often applying it to only the under side of your top lash isn't enough, i find. Apply to your lower lashes as well to really "open up" your eyes.
