sounds like your boot sequence is looking for dikette drive first of all.
go into bios setup (probably F1 during boot)
and change sequence to C: then diskette / CD

Sounds like 1 of 2 things.
You either have a non-boot floppy disk in your floppy drive, OR your hard drive has been wiped clean (EG by a virus).
Sounds more likely to be the latter option.
You may need to reinstall windows.

2 things might have happend. Your Hard drive went bad or there is a floppy in your floppy drive. If there is no floppy in your floppy drive, try going to the BIOS and auto detecting your hard drive from there if there is a auto detect tool.

You will have a shortcut on your desktop that points to your floppy drive, click each one that you are unsure of, when it asks you to insert a disk, then that is the one.
Alternatively it may be something in your autoexec.bat file.
