If you try this you will find that it can be very painful. Not only will you burn much easier, but you will increase the risk of you getting skin cancer. My aunt did this as a teen and now she is in the hospital with skin cancer, she beleives that sun taning with baby oil contributed to it.

Just being out in the sun burns the heck out of you, even using water, I useto use baby oil and I think it attracts the sun rays, but be careful, some old ladies look 90 instead of 45, because of suntaning and now they are really dark, but their skin makes them look so old.

YES, I've done that in the old days. It is very dangerous as it is oil it is getting hotter as it attracts the sun. PLEASE use sunscreen you will still tan but at a slower rate (protecting your skin) better yet, they sell some really great self tanners these days. As you don't want leather skin (at best) or cancer when you get older. Good luck!

Yes. Visualize a frying pan upside down. The sun is the heat, you're the meat, and the oil is sizzling you.

Yeah, if your skin is not used to the sun. Dry you out big time. Live on the West Coast of Florida, no way, crispy critters, careful.

sure it is going to notwithstanding it is going to also make you burn! toddler oil promises no safe practices from sunburn and sunlight damage. The tanning is purely no longer even besides. The burn i'm speaking about is the blistering painful type esp. if you're very straightforward like Scandanavian.

Yup. We fry foods in oil, and you are no different! You are coating yourself in oil with absolutely no protection whatsoever, and then you go and "turn on the frying pan" (sun). what do you think will happen, hmmm?
