Ah, if it is anything like a random sequence, I'd say 77 has as good a chance as 942. It is clear that there is no progression here (neither arithmetic nor geometric), nor is there any logarithmic scale involved. If this series is disjoint and the numbers are counted as a block of 4, then
1,2,3,6 (notice that 6 = 3+3, 6 = 1+2+3 and also, 6 = 1 x 2 x 3)
5,6,7,10 or
5,6,7,18 or
5,6,7,210
are all logically correct answer.
However, taken in a block of 5,it is hard to tell.
