I have a great friend from childhood that was poor and we were friends even though I had more money. We smiled and today we would hug like brothers since he and his family lives so far off. Today he is successful: married, good job, house, dog, etc. Maybe if we all smiled and hugged more people then everyone would be successful!
On the other hand, I'm for shooting all the rich people that are rude. They are like the rude homeless street people except some sort of accident caused them to have money, like having rich parents. I hate spoiled brats. The freakin' cheezy poof rich... They are societal leeches that have no redeeming value except their money, which should be pried from their cold, dead hands and reinvested in people that are worth something as individuals. People with money that are morally worthless damage others' lives and the rest of the rich people - the ones that really make an effort to make the world a better place. What I don't get is what is there to like about rich person that acts like an @ss? Don't worrie Marie, we got yer guillotine right here!

I don't think a hug and a smile from a rich person will help the poor to enjoy life. It's a persons character and choices that decides what type of life they are having. If a person is happy and fun, rich or poor, they will be happy.

You know it’s funny, someone else not too long ago asked, “What is so wrong with being rich?”
Well, what is wrong with being rich?
“Oh those rich people get all the respect.” Wahhh!!!
You people make me sick! The rich don’t get any more respect then poor people and this question proves it. Aren’t rich people humans too?

It's a question of attractive vs un-attractive, not a question of respect.
People are attracted to money and glitter, people are repulsed by poverty, dirty, shameful, embarrassing stuff.
Of course they have a right to enjoy life, - so do I !! But as for hugs and smiles?? I might give them eye-contact, I save my smiles for folks I know, and hugs??... that's only for grandmas and retards.

Too many people are shallow and suck up to the rich thinking, for some reason, that it might rub off on them. Same goes for the poor, they don't want the poor to rub off on them, like it could. Everybody deserves diginity.

Many people do not put value in its proper place. People value material things or the perception of material things higher than the true character of a person. Even worse, people actually confuse the two!

Because people like people that can pay a lot. Such as if you have a very wealthy friend, you invite them to your birthday even though they are mean to you, some people only invite them to get a good present. People get walked on just so they can get more stuff from them.

I don't hug hobos because they'll bite you. x3
But some of my best friends are "below average." They're great people, often nicer to be around than the rich kids.
