My niece and her friends all go on bebo...she even set me an account there (& im 33 years old!!) and i dont think the schools should ban it, i personally think the whole internet thingy should ban it!!
I couldnt believe the amount of $hit on it, kids giving the gob and offering others to meet up & fight etc....and as for the girls on it-if an adult was to go on an X rated site, i dont think there would be much difference as 2 what they would see if they logged on to bebo!!!
Dont get me wrong, im certainly no prude...but i would beat my daughter stupid if i was to catch her on bebo (when shes older as shes only 7 at the moment!!)
The last tiime my niece went on it usung my computer at home, there was an old bloke trying to get himself added to her friends list...he was about 60-65years old-why else would someone of this age want to go on a site full of kids, sometimes showing photos of themselves half naked...doesnt leave much to your imagination as to why he was on it, does it!
Yes, teenagers do need a site of there own, but one that is monitored.
Apart from that, i think the Police go on to bebo to find things out before they happen-and as the police work closely with the schools now, thats probably why the schools exclude the kids so quick these days....cause they dont want the crap taken to schools for the teachers to have to sort out?!

there is not much to do on Bebo, I used to be a member but then deleted/cancelled my account!! because it sucked!!

It's not bad, it's just rubbish.
For what it is, there are plenty better alternatives out there.

Supposedly its being used to bully particular pupils that use it, people are uploaded photos of other people that they didnt want seen etc.
