Cyberpunk 2020 or Cyberpunk V3?

I just got the Cyberpunk V3 corebook. and i have to say that i'm not impressed. i loved 2020's edge of apocalypse feel. v3 just dosnt feel the same. no comments on the art in V3 please, we all know it sucks.

I heard a rumor it the company had to release v3 as part of an agreement to obtain certain liscences. Looking at the V3 book I tend to believe the rumor. It looks like a book that was thrown together to fullfil an obligation.
