I once saw a one-woman show about the mothers of the famous and the infamous. The actress portrayed three mothers - The Wright brothers' mother, John Wilkes Booth's mother and a famous African American mother from the 1930's, whose 10 children all went to college and entered many different professions. Some research into the lives of these mothers would be fascinating. I'm sure that there is a book out there with the biographies of the mothers of the famous and infamous.
