He got elected because the republicans will stick together and vote lock step for whatever the Republican agenda is and the democrats won't. It could have been a snow storm in hell and the republicans would still be lining up to vote. I hear so many people complaining about Bush suck Bush is an idiot but when l ask them if they voted they say my 1 vote would not have changed anything anyway.

You see here is how this thing called an election work. This person name Kerry, a Senator from Ma, decided he wanted to be President of the United States, He is a democrat, so his party selected him at their convention to run against George Bush, a Republican. They had their convention and selected ole George again to run from their party.

The two of these fellows campaigned against each other, had several debates, made speeches on TV and at other rallies as well as at civic organizations.

After all the campaigning, TV debates, speech making, talking at rallies, kissing babies, shaking hands the campaign was over.

Now the American people went to the polls, each was given a ballot. They went into the voting booths.

More of them that went into the voting booths voted for George W. Bush than voted for the other fella John Kerry after all the votes were counted.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

Why bother? You don't get the idea of our system of government, the electoral college (which people had no complaint about going in, only after they LOST), or about why you don't have a dictatorship where the minority (yours) gets what they want, or where we have a psychic society that picks always the best person for the job because we KNOW how it will turn out.

You disagree with his policies. Fine. I do to, in several ways. But this kind of question does not make you look good, adds nothing to our discussion, and is more a matter of whining than actuall doing anything productive.

Oh, yes, free speech. Go ahead. But we have free speech as well.

And we'll answer you.

That's what sucks about this country. Bush didn't even get the most voters to vote for him. He actually recieved less votes from the people than the other guy. It was just that bush had more electoral votes... which means that the independent states had winning votes for bush from its people. WHen that happens, those states' electoral votes (each state has a different amount which depends on population) went to Bush. He won, because the bigger states that had more electoral votes, voted for him.

First of all Democrats had a lousy canidate. second, if you look back through us history, americans tend re-elect presidents during times of war. third, despite the way you feel, there are plenty of people in American who still trust President bush and believe he is doing a good job, and that he is doing what he believes is best for the country (whether you agree with him or not).

They did not like the fact that Kerry lied in his book saying that Nixion sent him to Cambotia(sp) in 1968. Nixion was elected in Nov. of that year and was not the president untill Jan. of 1969. So if Kerry obeyed the order from Nixion it was not a lawfull order!........ Then in 2000 when Gore lost in Flordia he only called for a partual recount which was and is against the constution of Flordia! PLEASE get over the fact that you lost twice in the election. Bush won twice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Read, What Went Wrong in Ohio" by Representative John Conyers. It spells out what happened there. Mostly the Republican political machine stripped African Americans of their right to vote in urban Ohio Districts.

Also read The Republican Noise Machine by David Brock to fill you in on who's who in the buzz world of corruption and malfeasance. Finally listen to Randi Rhoades and Mike Malloy on Air America Radio.

did you vote, sorry but i have to ask because i have found that most of the complainers never got off of the couch on that day. if you did vote, then it's because people were behind him at that time. they are now realising thei mistake. unfortunatly it's now too late to do anything about it. i propose everyone quits whineing and just waits it out for two more years.
