I have one in my backyard but can't find it during the day. My yard is fenced so not sure how he got in or is going to get out.

My best friend opened her bread box to find one sleeping in it! Scared dickenout of the possum AND us. Check your breadbox.

Yes they can sleep in a tree as well as any other place it can find--borrows---old sheds--------and don't worry about a possum getting into or out of anywhere---they are extremely agile and will amaze you at the number of places they can turn up

they are called opossums but they sleep in the daytime in trees or holes in trees or caves and they are great climbers
