Hi, luck me, I blew a gasline and spilled gasoline onto the asphalt
driveway. It left a large, black spot (the asphalt is old and faded).
Is there anyway to get the stain off? Thanks, John.

Gasoline is a solvent...it didn't STAIN your driveway, it CLEANED it. People used gas to clean parts in auto shops for years before it got so expensive. You'll need to CLEAN the rest of your driveway....trying to clean the spot where the gas spilled won't do anything, you need to clean up the REST of the driveway to match the gas spot.

Yes, go to a Hardware store and get Driveway Cleaner, it contains such things as Muriatic Acid, etc., and eats the stains off.

get an old toothbrush and some baking soda and some water. use small circles so that the brush can clean all the nooks and crannies

Oxyclean and hot water might help. Wear gloves!
