If you were in a fire, would you save one sibling, or five strangers, and why?

--An excellent question, one I have pondered about for ages. I would save my Mother's Daughter, though I would live in perosnal shame for the five strangers. If it was the other way around, I would live with personal shame and the shame of my family. That last one comes with a large dollop of guilt at Christmas time.

I actually lost my mom and two older sisters in a fire when I was thirteen. Without a doubt, I would save one sibling. Why? Not a day goes by that I don't miss them. I'm not saying that my sister's lives were worth more than five strangers, but, just the same, I would save my sibling.

If I'm capable of saving people in a fire, it would be my sibling and I would go back to the five other strangers to save them. There's no time for favortism, we're talking about saving lives here. Don't get me wrong I love my family, but if the other 5 strangers were kids or they couldn't do for themselves.

That is a really hard question. I would save 5 strangers because if I didn't I know that they would haunt me 4 the rest of my life and my sibling would still love me.

I would save the stangers cause my sibling is older than 30 so how can i help him and help the others i would help both if i could, so i would help the strangers but only if they need it otherwise i wouldn't realy want to unless i had no choice and i would for no reason....

All of my siblings can save themselves. They're all 16 and up. But I would probably go to my sister first. she has a four year old, and to me, it's the children and the elderly first.
But unless they were all helpless people who couldn't get out themselves, I'd go to my family first. But once you get out, the firefighters won't let you back in.
That's what I hope I would do. But in the end, it would probably be Simone and I against the world. She's my entire life. I'd die without her.

one sibling . I know it sounds selfish but If I couldn't live with myself If I'd choose some strangers over my own blood .

sibling...blood is thicker than water. Friends come and go throughout life even more so with strangers. But your family is your family forever.

id save the sibling then younger people since they still have time to grow and learn
