its definitely the worst thing ever that argentina got eliminated....cause unlike all these other teams that have left (**cough cough england**), argentina actually played really well against germany.

im sad too. i miss riquelme already.

It definitely was an unfair elimination for a team SO GOOD!!! What do you expect after the "drama queens Germs" cheated and fouled?!?! Argentina was much more classy than the Germs and they definitely deserved the title this time around!!!!! It's not fair when a player's given a yellow card instead of a penalty for being fouled!!! Aregentina's WIN should have, therefore, ideally been 2-1!!!!! There shouldn't have been any penalty shoot out!!! Anyway, the whole world saw the foul on the Argentine player and Ballack's great pretense in the penalty area of "a whack in the nose"!!! He was actually knocked around the shoulder region but collapsed clutching his nose!!! That shows desperation against A BETTER TEAM!!! If they can't win fairly, then they'll have to win cheating their way through!!! Furthermore, Klose fouled their goal keeper!!! Bunch of sad creatures are the Germs and no NO SPORTSMANSHIP WHATSOEVER!!! They should have been the one eliminated...!!!

WHATEVER SAID AND DONE, ARGENTINA IS THE BETTER SIDE AND ALWAYS WILL BE!!!!!

What was unfair about it? They lost on penalties according to the rules. Their disgraceful behaviour afterwards was, to me, a good enough reason to ban them from the next World Cup competition. If you can't lose gracefully then don't play!

Oh, and let's not forget the greatest cheat of them all,
Maradonna. Remember his 'hand of God' so-called goal that cheated Argentina into winning the World Cup after 'beating' England.. Not only that but Argentina's players are masters at falling over and rolling about at the slightest touch if they think they can con the referee into giving an opponent a red or yellow card or get an unfair advantage or penalty. The evidence? Argentina's own players in a T V interview admitting that they would do anything to win.

Argentina losing PKs with an inexperienced goalie. Boyfriends come and go, but we have to live with Argentina's elimination for four more years, more if we don't qualify or lose earlier in the game next time! :( I haven't been as depressed as I was on Friday for a looooooong time. Well, Saturday cheered me up a bit, but...whatever.

Why it was unfair? Do you really think that it was unfair? Please, tell me what part of argentinian players not having the guts to kick a penalty right is unfair.

Un gran equipo, sin dudas, pero le faltó definición. Y los penales son así... dulces o crueles...
